Laura K.S. Parnell is the president and founder of Precision Consulting. Founded in 1998, the company specializes in wound healing and burn research; however, projects in oncology, immunology, and cardiology are not uncommon. Laura designs research protocols, provides scientific knowledge and regulatory background, ensures adherence to current practices, and prepares documents and manuscripts based on the needs and budget of her clients. She has an international clientele and has worked extensively with industry representatives, FDA, and research investigators.

Expertise in immunology and microbiology, coupled with bench and clinical research experiences has lead to Laura’s unique perspective in research. As a consultant, Laura draws upon her experiences from industry and science to help bridge industrial research and clinical needs for pharmaceutical drugs and medical device products. Her particular research interests are immunomodulators and microbial aspects in burns, wound healing, and oncology. In addition to her current projects, Laura has developed and licensed more than 9 patents for new wound care products.
